Childcare Vouchers are accepted for Early Bird, Fun Club, AND Great Futures Preschool.We also offer financial assistance for those who do not qualify for a voucher from the state.
  
Programs are licensed and administered under the auspices of the Office of Early Education and Care.
The philosophy of the programs is to provide a professionally supervised environment for the enrolled children to grow physically, socially, and emotionally through a wide variety of planned activities and experiences.
Early Bird Program: Our before school program operates at the Boys and Girls Club from 6:30 AM until school bus pick up (our Club is a bus stop for all elementary schools). During this time children can play in the games room or gym. Children are welcome to bring in breakfast.
Fun Club: Our after school program that runs from school dismissal until 6:00 PM. This is held at each elementary school (grades K-5). Children go directly from their classroom to the cafeteria where they are checked in by our staff. Activities include homework help, gym games, educational programs, and arts and crafts (to name a few).
Great Futures Preschool: Our preschool program is curriculum based. The curriculum is based on the Department of Education's preschool Learning Experiences and Preschool Curriculum Frameworks. These include English Language Arts, Math, Science and Technology, History and Social Sciences, Health Education, and the Arts. The program operates out of a beautiful center designed specifically for younger children. The children have access to our gymnasium and pool for healthy, recreational activities. The program has one session (8:30-11:30 AM), with the option of attending two days (Tuesday & Thursday), 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), or all 5 days. We also offer an extended option available until 1pm.
A wholesome snack & drink is provided daily at Fun Club & Preschool.
Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify.
